Pa Joad is a person who lives in a town in Oklahoma with his family. He is a famer and belongs to the lower class. When the situation in Oklahoma starts getting uncomfortable they believe the best option is to go to California. They believe that this place is much better than Oklahoma because the jobs are better. But when they get to this place tey find out that there are no jobs and that lots of people take advantage of the situation.
